Family Nurse Practitioner

Elizabeth Russeau is a Family Nurse Practitioner at The Derm Institute of Chicago. Elizabeth attended the University of Illinois and received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. After graduation, she worked on an intensive care unit in the hospital, where she honed her clinical skills and cared for critically ill patients and their families. She started working as a registered nurse in a dermatology clinic in 2015. During that time, she had a desire to do more for her patients and returned to school to obtain her advanced practice degree. She attended Olivet Nazarene University and received her Master of Science degree in nursing. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been practicing as a nurse practitioner in dermatology since 2018.


Elizabeth values the opportunity to serve patients of all ages with a variety of conditions.


She has a special interest in treating acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and hair loss. She is also experienced in performing skin cancer screenings, cyst removals, and acne scarring treatments. Elizabeth enjoys creating a partnership with her patients to develop an individualized treatment plan to meet each patient’s goals. She enjoys educating her patients and helping them achieve their optimal skin health from both a medical and wellness perspective.

Elizabeth is an active member of the Dermatology Nurses Association and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is committed to continuing education and staying up to date on all the latest research and trends in dermatology.

Elizabeth lives in the city of Chicago with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
